Job Description
Our client is looking for a Senior System Administrator to support a rapidly expanding Digital Marketing and IT consultancy company based in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities:
- Managing software/OS licensing updates and patching
- Improve the current server/infrastructures availability response time and scalability.
- Implement ways to deal with web attacks and security issues like DDOS attacks and penetration
- To plan and execute disaster recovery activities
- Monitor and optimize network and systems performance
- Identity and access management
Requirement:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- At least 3 years of related work experience in administration of Linux systems.
- Familiar with Linux commands Certification in Linux Server will be an added advantage(eg: Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Oracle Enterprise Linux)
- Knowledge and experience in managing MySQL database server (replication read/write splitting and clustering offsite backup).
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software hardware and networking protocols
- Curiousminded proactive and willing to learn new technology
