Job Description
Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the manufacturing industry to hire an experienced fulltime Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a highly skilled engineering team while aligning efforts with company objectives and goals.
What YOU will do:- Lead and coordinate engineering functions including quality assurance testing production and research and development using lean manufacturing principles.
- Act as a liaison between customer service sales marketing and engineering teams to ensure clear communication of specifications budgets and deadlines.
- Manage multiple projects as a project manager creating timelines cost projections and organizing collaborative meetings.
- Prepare and execute departmental budgets.
- Support research and development initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest trends developments and technologies to enhance product lines and improve production efficiency.
- Supervise and guide the engineering team including hiring training performance evaluations and daytoday workflow.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Indepth understanding of structural engineering theory and design criteria.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in CAD (ComputerAided Drafting) and CAM (ComputerAided Machining) software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
