Job Description

As a QA Lead you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of web and mobile solutions that meet the companys requirements and exceed customer expectations. You will provide technical leadership to QA Engineers by mentoring them and ensuring they follow best practices while staying productive motivated and focused on achieving their goals. You will oversee the reliability performance and security of our trading platform while leading a team of QA Engineers.

Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing test plans estimating efforts and prioritizing multiple projects. You must ensure that quality issues and defects are effectively identified documented tracked and resolved. Collaborating closely with product and development teams you will clarify requirements scope/sizing and develop strategies and technical designs for quality delivery. You will help others with these tasks within and across teams. Demonstrating customer empathy effective stakeholder management and amplifying QA concerns at every instance will be critical to your role.


Requirements

  • Experience: 712 years in manual testing of REST APIs web and mobile applications.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading QA teams to success in a fastpaced delivery environment ensuring timely delivery with quality.
  • Domain Knowledge: Indepth understanding of trading platforms market data order management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • HandsOn Testing: Expertise in testing trading workflows including order placements trade executions account management and risk analysis features.
  • QA Strategy: Ability to define and implement QA strategies tailored to stock trading applications while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Mentorship: Experience mentoring QA Engineers in understanding requirements identifying test cases implementing QA processes and managing phase gates and delivery ceremonies.
  • Test Reporting: Proficiency in test reporting and signoff processes.
  • Core Expertise: Strong skills in manual testing test strategy design test scenario creation test case writing and execution.
  • Process Implementation: Experience in designing and implementing QA processes within QA teams and across departments involving developers designers and project managers.
  • Agile Practices: Familiarity with Agile methodologies including sprints issue creation and management.
  • Performance Testing: Experience ensuring system reliability and stability under highload scenarios typical of trading environments.
  • Security Compliance: Collaboration with security teams to validate applications for compliance with financial transaction security best practices.
  • PostDeployment Monitoring: Ability to monitor production performance postdeployment working closely with development and operations teams to ensure high availability.
  • Skills & Attributes: Proactive selfmotivated ownershipdriven and excellent communication skills.
  • Industry Best Practices: Active participation in quality assurance practices by applying industry best practices and implementing new tools and processes to achieve quality goals.
  • Automation: Knowledge of automation testing tools and basic scripting in Python/Java/Selenium is a plus.

Aid the team with the daily processing and confirmation of trades for all assigned clients. Support the team in retaining customers and generating new business opportunities. Actively engage with the Front-office and Trading team. Provide Level 1 support to customers for basic inquiries. Manage system licenses and coordinate with vendors regarding invoices and payments. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and demonstrate personal integrity. Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
