Job Description
o Lead and manage the maintenance team during the assigned shift
ensuring that all tasks are completed effectively and on time.
o Prioritize and allocate work orders to team members ensuring that work is
completed according to the schedule and within safety protocols.
o Ensure that the continuous carburizing furnaces and shield quench
furnaces along with utilities are operating efficiently and safely.
o Coordinate with production teams to align maintenance activities with
production schedules minimizing downtime.
o Oversee routine and preventive maintenance tasks for carburizing and
shield quench furnaces along with utilities including inspection
calibration and troubleshooting.
o Perform or supervise repairs to key components such as drive motors
conveyor systems quench pumps cooling water pumps and control
systems.
o Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control issues promptly to
minimize furnace downtime.
o Maintain logs for equipment inspection repairs and maintenance work
performed.
o Provide handson troubleshooting for electrical all types of equipment in
Heat Treatment Plant like Continuous Carburizing Heating Furnace Shield
Quench Furnace Shot Blasting Machine Cooling tower and Pumps.
o Work in Siemens PLC series) HMI Drive for operation
configuration back up restore modification.
o Knowledge of Siemens SCADA (project creation modification back up
restoration etc.
o Knowledge of Basic Electrical (Motor Switch Gear Proxy Limit Switch
Transformer Heater etc.
