Job Description

Job: Technical Specialist Junior ECM Solution Designer
Location : Raleigh NC 27610 Remote
Duration: 12month
Candidate must be informed that this is a SharePoint Business Analyst/Quality Assurance role. This is not a SharePoint Developer/Admin role. Do you accept this requirement
**Selected candidate must be comfortable using their own equipment to remote into a virtual workspace. A laptop will not be provided.**
**No computer programming/coding will be performed in this position.**

Description:

  • Translate design requirements into clearly defined and manageable user stories for the Development Team.
  • Prioritize and track progress on work items and deliverables.
  • Ensure work items and deliverables are scheduled completed and delivered to the clients on time with high quality and excellent usable documentation.
  • Document the program and project deliverables as assigned.
  • Coordinate with clients to implement reengineered business processes.
  • Test SharePoint and webbased content management deliverables as required to support the reengineered business processes.
  • Draft and deliver training materials for changed business processes and IT applications.
  • Consult with clients to prototype refine test and debug applications and processes to meet business needs.
  • Provide Quality Control for program and project deliverables.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members.

Required Skills: (8 years)

  • Designing SharePoint and webbased content solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance testing
  • Working knowledge of AGILE software development methodology and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • SharePoint experience with designing custom Microsoft SharePoint lists libraries and content types
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Positive interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain business processes to IT users and IT applications to business users
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Suite experience (e.g. Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Teams)
  • Proven experience evaluating business processes and reengineering
  • Proven experience writing clear and concise technical training materials and other user documentation experience as a Business Analyst
  • Preferred Skills (3 years)
  • Experience as a SharePoint Business Analyst
  • Experience in Quality Assurance testing
  • Motivated selfstarter that can work with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of NCDOTs Preconstruction business process
  • Understanding of NCDOTs Transportation Life Cycle business process
  • Extensive experience with SharePoint Designer or Owner roles
  • Demonstrated experience with AGILE development methodology and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps tool suite
  • Experience with Balsamiq Wireframes
