As a Business Development / Account Manager you will drive business growth by acquiring new clients managing existing accounts and ensuring the delivery of highquality IT services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a specialized field building relationships and understanding the unique IT needs of companies.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking prospecting and lead generation.
- Conduct needs assessments with potential clients understand their IT requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Present and pitch IT services that align with the needs of clients including infrastructure support data management cybersecurity and cloud solutions.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
- Account Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for current clients ensuring longterm satisfaction and relationship growth.
- Regularly check in with clients to ensure service quality and identify additional opportunities for service expansion.
- Collaborate with the leadership and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT services and solutions.
- Proactively identify and implement upsell or crosssell opportunities related to new IT services or system upgrades.
- Client Retention & Satisfaction:
- Monitor and manage the ongoing needs of clients to ensure services meet expectations.
- Address client concerns promptly and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions sales activities and ongoing support efforts.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance client health and business development metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- 2 years in business development or account management preferably in IT or technology sales.
- Strong track record in B2B sales account management and relationship building.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions to nontechnical clients.
- Ability to build trust and establish longterm relationships with clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and sales activities.
- Selfmotivated and goaloriented with a strong customerfirst mentality.
- Knowledge of IT services like cloud solutions cybersecurity data storage and networking.
