Job Description: Senior Supply Chain Consulting Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Supply Chain Consulting Analyst to join our dynamic consulting team. In this role you will lead the assessment and optimization of clients supply chain operations develop datadriven strategies and implement solutions to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance overall performance. As a Senior Analyst you will manage complex projects collaborate with senior stakeholders and provide mentorship to junior team members contributing to the success of our clients and the growth of our practice.
- Design and implement supply chain strategies that align with clients business objectives focusing on operational efficiency cost reduction and risk mitigation.
- Lead assessments of current supply chain operations identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Provide clients with actionable recommendations to enhance procurement logistics inventory management and demand forecasting processes.
- Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and present detailed reports dashboards and visualizations that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.
- Use advanced analytics tools (e.g. Excel Tableau Power BI) to support datadriven decisionmaking for clients.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and other frameworks.
- Oversee the development and execution of supply chain optimization projects including inventory management warehouse operations and transportation logistics.
- Work with clients to integrate supply chain technologies and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and visibility.
- Identify risks in supply chain operations including supplier dependencies geopolitical factors and demand volatility.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to improve supply chain resilience.
- Guide clients in adopting best practices to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Evaluate supplier performance and provide recommendations to improve relationships and ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Lead initiatives to develop sustainable sourcing strategies and improve supplier collaboration.
- Assist in negotiating supplier agreements and contracts focusing on cost efficiency and quality assurance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders building strong relationships and ensuring project success.
- Lead client meetings workshops and presentations communicating complex supply chain concepts clearly and effectively.
- Manage client expectations ensuring deliverables are met on time within scope and aligned with their goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering their professional development and ensuring highquality work.
- Lead project teams managing timelines resources and deliverables to achieve successful outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools methodologies and best practices for supply chain consulting.
- Stay up to date on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in supply chain management.
- Conduct research and benchmarking to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in clients supply chain operations.
- Advise clients on adopting new technologies such as AI IoT and blockchain to improve supply chain visibility and performance.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
- Advanced degree (e.g. MBA Masters in Supply Chain Management) or certifications (e.g. APICS CSCP Lean Six Sigma PMP) are highly preferred.
- 5 7 years of experience in supply chain consulting operations or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering successful supply chain projects and measurable improvements.
- Experience with supply chain technologies such as SAP Oracle or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
- Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills with expertise in data modeling scenario planning and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including procurement logistics inventory management and production planning.
- Proficiency in supply chain analytics tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) and process improvement frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage seniorlevel stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing crossfunctional teams and largescale projects.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to tackle complex supply chain challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
- Collaborative team leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and guide team members.
