We provide Architectural Structural Mechanical Plumbing and Electrical engineering for a variety of projects that include commercial office buildings educational facilities public agencies and interior tenant buildouts.
GAA is seeking an Electrical Clerk with experience in developing construction documents for power lighting fire alarm security and telecommunications systems for educational government and commercial facilities.
The responsibilities of the candidate will include:
Preparation of studies electrical evaluations design preparation of construction documents and construction administration services.
Preparing estimates and budgets.
Creating accurate project specifications.
Creating technical reports for customers.
Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Good communication and writing skills are a must.
We are interested in candidates who are selfmotivated posses a great attitude and who will fit in as a vital member of our firm working closely with our inhouse architects and structural mechanical and plumbing engineers.
Candidates must be wellorganized clear communicators Microsoft Word and Excel.
Candidate must have handson experience with construction documents writing specifications and understanding building codes.
Bachelors degree in Architectural or Electrical Engineering from an ABETaccredited university.
Minimum 2 years experience in electrical design for commercial educational and public facility projects.
Experience with design and analysis of electrical power distribution systems lighting telecommunications and fire alarm systems.
Construction observation experience.
Working knowledge of building codes regulations and industry design standards.
