About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to oversee the operations of our service department. This key leadership role involves managing service technicians optimizing workshop efficiency ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting departmental performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supervise and motivate service staff including technicians and service advisors.
- Ensure highquality vehicle repairs and maintenance meeting manufacturer and safety standards.
- Manage customer service addressing queries and complaints and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the service department s budget including managing costs labor and parts inventory.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and analyze departmental performance reports.
- Develop and implement strategies for increasing service revenue and customer retention.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) and relevant tertiary qualifications in Management or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years experience in automotive services with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership customer service financial and organizational skills.
- Indepth knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Ability to motivate a team and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Proven track record of meeting financial and operational targets.
