Job Description
- Own and design backend REST APIs for usability and for scale
- Build and manage a team of backend engineers
- Build clean maintainable and welltested backend code
- Build the Daylight API a robust scalable and developerfriendly API that the biggest crypto apps and wallets use
- Engineer Daylight s integrations system a service that ingests into Daylight transactions across many transaction creation tools like Zora and Boosts
Requirements
- Deep experience with modern backend technologies like Node.js Typescript AWS and Postgres
- 5 years at tech startups with millions of DAUs
- Appetite to work on complex products with autonomy and creative freedom
- Experience designing and building out programmatic APIs
- Experience maintaining highly available infrastructure
Benefits
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in backend development, focusing on GO and TypeScript. Proven expertise in writing and maintaining high-quality code. Extensive experience with Postgres and MongoDB, including schema design and performance optimization. Experience with blockchain technology and/or Rust is a plus. Experience creating and maintaining open-source TypeScript SDKs is advantageous. Expertise in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in GO for backend development with a strong understanding of scalable service architecture. Expertise in TypeScript for backend applications and open-source SDKs. Strong knowledge of Postgres and MongoDB, including data modeling and performance tuning. Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is an added advantage. Knowledge of blockchain technology and Rust is a plus.
