We are on the hunt for a dependable and hardworking Janitor/Custodian to join our clients vibrant Cincinnati team!
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May require evening weekend or overnight shifts depending on facility needs.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and materials.
- Physical activity including lifting standing and repetitive motions.
- Hours Per Week: 40
THE IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE:
As the Administrative Coordinator you will ensure our facilities remain spotless safe and inviting. If you have an eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility we want you!
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping vacuuming and dusting.
- Sanitize bathrooms kitchens and other communal spaces to meet health standards.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Replenish supplies such as soap paper towels and toilet paper.
- Report and document maintenance needs or damages.
- Perform light repairs or maintenance as needed (e.g. changing light bulbs tightening fixtures).
- Ensure secure locking of doors windows and other entry points.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above and may evolve overtime. **
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years previous experience as a custodian janitor or in a related role preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Basic maintenance skills (e.g. minor repairs).
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting bending and standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
