Job Description
A Fabric Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing fabrics for faults and quality control purposes. They evaluate the fabrics for texture feel color shrinkage weight and other characteristics as well as identifying any defects or flaws in the fabric. They must have a good eye for detail and an understanding of the production process and the desired end product.
- Ensure fabric quality meets required standards
- Carry out quality checks on fabric samples
- Inspect fabric for defects
- Advise production staff on quality issues
- Maintain accurate records of inspections
