Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room
Location: Athens GA
Pay scale: $2250 $2350
Shift: Days (8x5s)
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room ensuring a safe and sterile surgical environment.
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist with surgical procedures including preparation of patients surgical instruments and equipment.
- Monitor patients vital signs and response to anesthesia during surgery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the surgical team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of intraoperative nursing care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience in operating room nursing.
- Proficiency in surgical asepsis and sterile techniques.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
