Job Description:
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Experience of Automotive system and component design test & production delivery.
- Batchelors Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 10 years of experience in domain of product engineering and development and system management utilising all the key attributes with a demonstrable record of delivery of the accountabilities
- In depth knowledge of aggregate and technologies for Electrical Vehicles
- Experience of at least 2 full product development cycles.
- Experience of new technology integration / development for EV Components line DCAC Inverter/DCDC Converter/On Board Charger
- Experience of team management.
- Documentation of Technical Specifications DFMEA DVP Timing Plans Minutes and Actions of Meetings
- Handson Experience in Embedded software & hardware development
- Matlab / LTspice / Zuken Ansys skills are desirable but not essential
Key Responsibilities
- Managing Teams technical deliverables planning reporting on progress and providing expert knowledge in the area of Electrical Vehicle Components
- Ensuring on time delivery and working to the highest standards possible
- Involve working across technical specialists adopting new processes and acting as the main point of contact for your specialist area
- Prepare System Specification FMEA DVP System level test specs
- System Delivery including design release development and validation plans
- System BOM management & tracking
- Robust concerns resolution
- Review and approve Circuit Topology Component & SubSystem Conceptualization Component & SubSystem Design Component
- Subsystem Development Component & subsystem Validation Product Release
- Approve concepts to meet the best practices for development & Implement best practices to find and solve problems in the project
- Guarantee delivery for all projects in line with Development Process and that Project Management KPIs are on track
- Experience of new technology integration / development for EV Components line DCAC Inverter/DCDC Converter/On Board Charger
- Guide and Review cost and tech effective solutions and propose. implementation in the project.
- Participate in resolution of escalated issues
- Closely working with the Project Manager / Leaders to identify and specify design activity required interpret requirements of the Project engineers and design estimate time to complete and construct a work plan that supports the release schedule
