Job Description

Job Responsibilities
Business Development
B1.Market segmentation targeting and strategic positioning of the project requirements
especially to strengthen the private sector engagement in the waste management industry
(India and globally).
B2.Identify new and upcoming business opportunities in the waste management industry.
B3.Utilize various sources including industry publications market reports and networking
events to gather leads.
B4.Compile and consolidate a healthy pipeline of leads in alignment to the project goals and
outcomes. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and business
growth objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
S1. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with private sector clients ensuring
alignment with project objectives and organizational goals.
S2.Engage with internal teams including marketing product development and operations to
ensure alignment and support business objectives. Represent the company at industry
events conferences and meetings to build a network of
contacts.
Market Analysis:
M1.Actively pursue market research and analysis for new opportunities staying informed about
industry trends and potential areas for expansion.
M2.Field visits and meetings to improve direct stakeholder interaction gathering insights and
feedback to inform and enhance private sector collaboration strategies.
M3.Analyze market data to identify gaps and areas for growth.
M4.Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support business
strategy.
Sales Process Management:
S1.Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through to closing deals















S2.Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
S3.Prepare detailed business plans and sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
Proposal Development:
P1.Prepare develop and present compelling business proposals and pitches to potential
clients.
P2.Customize proposals to address the specific needs and challenges of prospective clients.
P3.Follow up on proposals and negotiate terms to close deals.
P4.Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients ensuring mutually beneficial
agreements.
P5.Work to secure longterm contracts and partnerships that align with company goals.
