Manger Operation Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:
1.
Operations Management:
o
Oversee the daily operation of solar power plants and systems to ensure optimal performance.
o
Monitor system performance using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and other remote monitoring tools.
o
Ensure that all solar assets are running within the designed parameters and performance expectations.
o
Conduct performance analysis and diagnostics to identify underperformance issues and implement corrective measures.
o
Lead the maintenance activities for solar systems including preventive corrective and predictive maintenance.
o
Manage and supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient and timely completion of all maintenance tasks.
o
Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maintain high reliability.
o
Identify and prioritize maintenance needs based on performance monitoring data inspections and root cause analysis of issues.
o
Coordinate with thirdparty service providers for specialized maintenance or repairs as necessary.
2.
Health Safety and Environmental Compliance:
o
Ensure that all operations and maintenance activities are conducted in full compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
o
Develop and enforce safety protocols for maintenance personnel and contractors working onsite.
o
Conduct safety audits inspections and safety training programs to ensure a culture of safety within the team.
o
Manage environmental compliance related to solar installations ensuring adherence to local state and federal regulations.
3.
Asset Performance and Reporting:
o
Monitor and report on the operational performance of solar systems including energy generation downtime and system availability.
o
Prepare and present regular reports on the performance maintenance activities and operational status to senior management and stakeholders.
o
Identify opportunities for performance optimization and cost reductions.
4.
Team Management:
o
Lead and manage the O&M team including technicians and other staff involved in the operation and maintenance of solar assets.
o
Provide leadership mentorship and training to ensure the technical proficiency of the team.
o
Coordinate team schedules resource allocation and workflow to ensure smooth daily operations.
o
Manage staffing and hiring needs for O&M activities.
5.
Budget & Cost Management:
o
Develop and manage O&M budgets ensuring costeffective operation and maintenance activities.
o
Monitor and control O&M costs including labor spare parts and service contracts.
o
Evaluate and negotiate contracts with external service providers and suppliers for maintenance and repair services.
6.
Project Management and Continuous Improvement:
o
Lead O&M activities for new projects including system commissioning handover and postinstallation performance.
o
Participate in troubleshooting and rootcause analysis for system failures and faults.
o
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
7.
Stakeholder Communication:
o
Act as the primary point of contact for clients stakeholders and regulatory bodies regarding O&M activities.
o
Ensure clear and effective communication regarding plant performance maintenance schedules and issues that may affect stakeholders.

Education:
o
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Renewable Energy or a related field.

Experience:
o
12 to 15 years of experience in operations and maintenance management in the solar or energy industry.
