Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist who is passionate about search engine optimization and has a proven track record of improving organic search performance. The job holder will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies analyzing performance data and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to enhance our clients online visibility and rankings. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors including offsite SEO such as directory development and external link citations.
- Design and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
OnPage and OffPage Optimization:
- Optimize website content metadata and landing pages for targeted keywords.
- Develop and implement linkbuilding campaigns and outreach initiatives.
Technical SEO:
- Perform regular website audits to identify and fix technical issues affecting crawl ability a indexing.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement SEO best practices in website architecture and coding.
Content Strategy:
- Work with the content team to create SEOfriendly content that aligns with client goals.
- Provide guidance on content structure headlines and callstoaction to maximize engagement.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics Search Console and SEO software.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
Client Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary SEO expert in client meetings providing insights and updates on campaign progress.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and algorithm updates to educate clients and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
Skills/Requirements Needed:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO preferably within an agency setting.
- Proven success in improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic growth.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or a related field is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors including knowledge in offsite
- SEO such as directory development and external link citations.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush Moz Ahrefs and Screaming Frog
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with HTML CSS and basic web development principles.
- Experience with local SEO and international SEO is a plus.
