Title: Azure Cloud Administrator
Term: 1 Year Location: Washington DC onsite
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Administrator to architect implement and manage our organization & #39;s Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in Azure services cloud architecture principles and enterprisescale cloud operations.Core Responsibilities
Design and implement Azure cloud solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices
Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure including virtual networks storage compute resources and PaaS services
Lead cloud security implementation and compliance initiatives
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
Automate cloud operations using Azure DevOps PowerShell and ARM templates
Implement and maintain Identity and Access Management (Azure AD)
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior cloud engineers
Drive cloud adoption and migration initiatives
Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks
Technical Requirements
Required Skills
10 years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
Current Azure certifications (AZ303/304 AZ500 or equivalent)
Expert knowledge of Azure core services:
o Azure Virtual Machines and Virtual Networks
o Azure Storage solutions
o Azure Active Directory and Identity Management
o Azure Security and Compliance tools
o Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
o Azure Backup and Site Recovery
Strong experience with:
o Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates Terraform)
o PowerShell and Azure CLI scripting
o Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
o Cloud networking and security concepts
o Load balancing and high availability solutions
Preferred Skills
Experience with:
o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
o Azure Functions and App Services
o Azure Front Door and CDN
o Azure Policy and Blueprints
o Cost optimization and cloud financial management
o Multicloud environments
Knowledge of:
o DevOps methodologies
o Agile project management
o ITIL frameworks
Leadership & Professional Skills
Strong architectural design and problemsolving abilities
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication
Ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders
Experience leading cloud transformation initiatives
Strong vendor management skills
Proven ability to manage multiple highpriority projects
Education
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field
Microsoft Azure certifications required:
o Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent
o Additional Azure certifications preferred
Essential Functions

Documentation and knowledge base maintenance
24/7 escalation support as needed
Required Experience
5 years of handson experience with Azure cloud services
3 years of experience in cloud architecture and design
2 years of experience leading technical teams or projects

1. Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.
2. Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.
3. Identifies best practices and standards for the use of the product.
4. Delivers support and design for industry specific technologies that require integration with systems or networks.
5. Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.
6. Functions as a niche technical SME.
7. Lead experience with technical expertise across large complex implementations for systems
