Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Core SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our critical SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of database design performance tuning and troubleshooting along with a strong commitment to ensuring data integrity and system availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of handson experience managing SQL Server databases.

Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture database design and administration.

Expertise in TSQL for writing and debugging scripts stored procedures and triggers.

Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Experience with high availability and disaster recovery setups including Always On and failover clustering.

Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies.

Knowledge of security protocols and compliance frameworks for database systems.

Certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar.

Experience with cloudbased SQL services (Azure SQL Database AWS RDS).

Exposure to monitoring tools like Redgate SolarWinds DPA or SQL Sentry.

Understanding of DevOps practices and database automation tools.

Knowledge of SSIS SSRS and Power BI for ETL and reporting tasks.

Experience with other Databases MySQL MongoDB etc.
