Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Architect with expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and cloud infrastructure management. This role requires a blend of cloudnative engineering DevOps expertise and strategic leadership to drive enterprise cloud initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive handson experience in designing deploying and managing multicloud solutions with a proven ability to lead teams and implement best practices across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Technical Expertise:
1. MultiCloud Architecture: Design and architect scalable secure and highly available solutions across Azure and AWS platforms.
2. Kubernetes Orchestration:
o Lead the setup optimization and scaling of AKS and AWS EKS clusters.
o Implement and manage Kubernetes workloads including Helm charts namespaces and ingress controllers.
3. CloudNative Development: Design microservicesbased applications leveraging serverless and containerized workloads across Azure Functions AWS Lambda and Kubernetes.
4. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Bicep.
5. Performance & Optimization: Monitor workloads finetune performance and ensure cost efficiency on Azure and AWS platforms.
6. Security: Implement cloud security best practices including IAM policies network security and compliance frameworks for both Azure and AWS.
7. Migration: Drive hybrid or multicloud migrations focusing on containerization and workload optimization.
DevOps Expertise:
1. CI/CD Pipelines: Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps AWS CodePipeline Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
2. Automation: Automate build test and deployment processes for faster delivery and increased reliability.
3. Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring tools such as Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch and Azure Monitor for proactive issue resolution.
4. Incident Management: Oversee cloud operations incident response and root cause analysis to ensure high uptime and performance.
Leadership & Strategy:
1. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of cloud and DevOps engineers fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
2. Collaboration: Partner with development security and operations teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.
3. Strategic Cloud Planning: Develop and execute cloud adoption roadmaps and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the technical authority for cloud initiatives communicating progress and challenges to senior management.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Cloud Expertise:
Proficiency in Azure and AWS services including AKS EKS EC2 S3 RDS Lambda Azure Functions and Virtual Networks.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes Docker and containerized application deployment.
Experience with multicloud strategies and workload optimization.
DevOps Expertise:
Expertise in DevOps principles including continuous integration continuous deployment and automation.
Handson experience with IaC tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and mentor diverse teams promoting collaboration and innovation.
Strategic mindset with the ability to drive largescale cloud transformation initiatives.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Analytical and problemsolving mindset for troubleshooting complex systems.
Certifications (Preferred):
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
DevOps certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Expert.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
