You will be updated with latest job alerts via email The purpose of the Shift engineer (Service area operations) is To operate and maintain the utilities with 100% uptime.
Develop and enable a first touch team of technicians/operators & contractor to consistently deliver outstanding safety quality service and value to the person at the end of our supply chain.
Responsible for uninterrupted and valuable utility services to all the Manufacturing facilities in shifts as per the agreed upon business requirements.
Responsible for maintenance management energy management and legal compliances.
Effective Asset and Facility upkeep Deployment of Maintenance Strategy Equipment Efficiency improvements adherence to compliances in order to support achieving the site KPI s. Ensure operation and maintenance of Service area Equipment at optimum efficiency. Coordination with manufacturing and with other values stream engineers for timely execution of jobs in right first time. Daily interaction with Production and cross functional team. Required to deliver utility and services with safety quality and compliance and delivery.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance of all utility equipment Tablet water systems & HVAC systems for optimum performance. Solving the recurrence problems and fix with permanent solutions. Ensure timely execution and entry of maintenance data generated as per Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). Ensuring that the appropriate Deviation procedure and problemsolving processes are used to avoid reoccurrence of issues.
Ensuring that they understand the cost budget (R & M capital budget Utility and OPEX) for the area and the impact that they and their team can have on this. . Leading and coaching of teams including contractors to ensure adherence to standards for safety quality compliance and output.
Interaction with contractor employees while performing work & 5 S of Contractor shed area.
Ensures strictly adherence to zero access and safe machine guarding procedures LOTO and permit to work (PTW) as per GES and EHS guidelines.
Ensuring alignment and providing data for the tiered accountability meetings within the area and on site.
Involve in self internal & IBM audit and other inspections as per audit schedule in the area of accountability and track timely closure of actions.
Active engagement in Performance management meetings for the area e.g. Safety meetings TIP review RCA etc. Current state analysis and TOP 3 issues identified with aligned target conditions/actions using Lead and Lag measures to track and improve.
Ensure that all risks for Department are identified assessed and mitigated in accordance with risk management principles
Preparation of Engineering SOPs of respective areas for operational activities.B.E / Diploma in Engineering
Mechanical or any other Engineering discipline.5 yrs of working experience in a Pharmaceutical environmentHVAC Water system & Utility .Knowledge of MSWord MSExcel MSPowerPoint Autocad etc.
Hands on experience in trouble shooting of HVAC systems.
HVAC Equipment qualification.
