SFDC Data Cloud Architect formerly Known As Salesforce Customer 360

This role requires expertise in data integration storage governance and analytics to ensure that the organization s data strategy aligns with its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Architecture:
o Design and implement scalable data architectures that leverage Salesforce Data Cloud to meet organizational needs.
o Develop data models that optimize storage and retrieval of data ensuring efficiency and performance.
o Define the overall data strategy including the integration of different data sources and platforms into Salesforce.
Data Integration & Management:
o Lead data integration efforts by connecting Salesforce Data Cloud with internal and external data sources including thirdparty applications databases and other Salesforce products.
o Ensure data consistency accuracy and completeness across multiple platforms and systems.
Data Governance & Security:
o Implement best practices in data governance ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
o Define and enforce data security policies ensuring that sensitive data is handled appropriately and stored securely.
o Ensure rolebased access and proper authorization controls to maintain data integrity.
Data Analytics & Insights:
o Work closely with data analysts and business intelligence teams to ensure that the Salesforce Data Cloud supports advanced analytics machine learning and AI initiatives.
o Enable advanced reporting and dashboards within Salesforce for business users focusing on realtime analytics and predictive insights.
Performance Optimization:
o Monitor and optimize the performance of data processes including data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) workflows.
o Ensure that large datasets are handled efficiently and that Salesforce Data Cloud is optimized for high volumes of data.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
o Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including business leaders IT and thirdparty vendors to align data strategies with business objectives.
o Act as the technical advisor for Salesforce Data Cloud implementations and enhancements providing guidance to stakeholders on datarelated challenges.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
o Stay uptodate with the latest Salesforce Data Cloud features and industry best practices in data architecture and management.
o Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance data management processes and architectures within the organization.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
o Extensive experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (or Customer 360) including at least 23 endtoend implementations (810 yrs of Salesforce experience)
o Proven experience in data architecture data integration and data governance in a cloudbased environment.
o Strong background in working with large datasets data lakes and realtime data processing.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Salesforce Data Cloud architecture including its data models APIs and integration points.
o Handson experience with ETL tools data transformation and data integration platforms.
o Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL Python or Java for data manipulation and transformation.
o Knowledge of Salesforce tools like Apex Visualforce and Lightning Components is a plus.
Certifications:
o Salesforce Certified Data Architect or similar Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Application Architect System Architect) are highly desirable.
o Additional certifications in data management and cloud architecture are a plus.
Soft Skills:
o Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to design innovative data solutions.
o Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
o Leadership skills to guide technical teams and influence business stakeholders on datadriven strategies.
Industry Knowledge:
o Familiarity with data compliance and regulations such as GDPR HIPAA or CCPA.
o Industry knowledge in sectors like healthcare finance or retail can be advantageous depending on the organization.
