Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Lead to take charge of designing developing and optimizing the ServiceNow platform. The role demands expertise in the Customer Service Management (CSM) module ITSM processes and platform governance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in establishing technical standards guiding platform teams and aligning implementations with ServiceNow best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Governance & Strategy:

    • Define and guide the execution of technical governance processes.
    • Develop and implement standards for maintaining platform health and architecture integrity.
    • Establish enterprisewide technical architecture and implementation strategies to ensure success.
  • ServiceNow Platform Management:

    • Provide technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities.
    • Design and implement platform operating models to drive user adoption and value delivery.
    • Guide platform design focusing on integration scalability and performance optimization.
  • Technical Leadership:

    • Assess architecture and solution designs for alignment with ServiceNow best practices.
    • Offer guidance on prototyping and accelerating deployment cycles.
    • Provide technical advice for platformwide solutions configuration and coding standards.
  • Health & Performance:

    • Conduct ServiceNow HealthScan to ensure performance scalability manageability and security.
    • Remediate configurations not aligned with best practices.
  • Team Building & Leadership:

    • Build and mentor a platform team focused on delivering innovation and value.
    • Enable rapid upgrades to new features and innovations that enhance business outcomes.

Technical Skills Required

  • Mandatory Expertise:

    • Customer Service Management (CSM) module experience
    • ITSM: Incident Management Problem Management Change Management Knowledge Management Service Portal Service Catalog
    • Development skills: Client Scripts UI Policies UI Scripts Script Includes Business Rules Scheduled Jobs
  • Preferred Expertise (any one):

    • ITOM: CMDB Discovery Service Mapping
    • ITBM: Project Portfolio Management Release Management Agile
    • HRSD: HR Service Delivery and Finance
    • GRC: Governance Risk and Compliance

Certifications

  • Mandatory: ServiceNow System Administration Certification
  • Preferred:
    • ITIL Foundation Certification (or willing to obtain before joining)
    • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification
