Job Description:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design develop and deliver engaging instructional materials.
- Develop course content including curriculum learning modules assessments and multimedia resources.
- Ensure instructional content aligns with learning objectives and meets the needs of the target audience.
- Utilize instructional design models to create and refine educational materials.
- Implement best practices in instructional design and learning theories to enhance learner outcomes.
- Regularly evaluate and revise course content based on feedback and assessments.
- Ensure accessibility of learning materials to meet diverse learner needs.
- Provide support and guidance to faculty or instructors using learning management systems (LMS) and other teaching technologies.
Requirements
- Professional Development: Proven experience in developing training programs or courses particularly in a professional or corporate development environment.
- Instructional Design Expertise: Strong understanding of instructional design principles tools and techniques.
- TAE 16 or 22 Certification: Possession of TAE 16 or TAE 22 certification (or similar) is required ensuring familiarity with Australian vocational education and training standards.
- Learning Management System (LMS): Preferable experience with Canvas or similar learning management platforms with the ability to design and manage online courses effectively.
- Assessment Knowledge: Ability to create and assess learning outcomes ensuring they meet educational standards and learner expectations.
