Job Summary:
The Assistant HR Manager will support the HR department in implementing HR policies managing recruitment employee relations training and development performance management and ensuring the company complies with labor laws and regulations. The Assistant HR Manager will work closely with HR teams and other departments to enhance employee engagement and ensure a smooth HR operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Assist in the recruitment process including job postings screening resumes conducting initial interviews and scheduling final interviews.
- Maintain and update the recruitment database and records.
- Coordinate onboarding for new employees ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and new hires are properly integrated.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and provide support in resolving workplace issues.
- Help in organizing employee engagement programs surveys and activities.
- Assist in resolving conflicts or complaints and provide advice on policies and procedures.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process track employee performance reviews and assist managers in providing feedback.
- Help in setting up training programs aimed at improving employee skills and overall team performance.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with HR documentation such as contracts offer letters and termination notices.
- Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee attendance leave requests and other relevant data.
Training & Development:
- Assist in identifying training needs and organizing internal or external training sessions.
- Maintain training records and monitor employees progress in various learning programs.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws company policies and HR best practices.
- Assist in preparing HR reports for management regarding headcount turnover employee satisfaction and more.
- Support audits ensure document accuracy and keep track of employee certifications and compliance requirements.
Other HR Projects:
- Assist in various HRrelated projects including employee wellness programs diversity initiatives and any other initiatives that contribute to improving the work environment.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: 34 years of experience in an HR support role preferably in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with HR practices labor laws and recruitment processes.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and HR software (HRIS).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
