Our clients company specializes in offering a wide range of insurance products and services including personal commercial and group benefits lines of insurance. Currently they are seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Personal / Commercial Lines Producer.
This role involves selfgenerating prospects establishing strong relationships and consulting on business to close deals effectively.
Responsibilities
- Selfgenerate prospects network and establish credibility to consult on business and close deals
- Establish referral sources from various professionals such as CPAs Real Estate Agents Mortgage Brokers and Financial Service Advisors
- Conduct a discovery process with clients perform needs assessments obtain competitive quotes and create quotes
- Utilize cold calling centers of influence prospecting techniques and dealclosing strategies
- Obtain the required licensing for WA State Property & Casualty (for Commercial) and both Property & Casualty and Life & Health for Personal Lines
- Have at least 2 years of prospecting experience and 2 years of Insurance Sales experience preferably in a specialty niche
- Target small to mediumsized businesses for client acquisition
Qualifications
- 5 years of independent broker experience
- Experience working with standard and preferred clients
- Focus on service rather than sales with no commissions involved
- Blend of inoffice (3 or 4 days a week) and remote work (1 or 2 days) not fully remote candidates
