As our DemandNegotiator in our Personal Injury Prelitigation department you will have the opportunity to negotiate the largest wrongful death TBI catastrophic injury and major orthopedic settlements achievable.
Daily Tasks:
Evaluate bodily injury claims through medical records and legal documentation.
Assess potential exposure.
Identify potential issues that will enhance case value.
Analyze the costeffectiveness of litigation versus settlement.
Proactively pursue settlement strategies.
Correspond with clients providers and insurance companies.
Maintain accurate records and handle administrative responsibilities associated with processing case disbursement.
Bring a teamoriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.
Your Skills:
At least two years of experience negotiating bodily injury claims (plaintiff or defense).
Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar preferred (not required).
Ability to maintain professionalism while handling negotiations and communications with clients.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Type at least 40wpm.
Able to maintain workflow by assuring prompt and accurate handling of assigned cases.
