Job is for an OR Nurse Manager at Frisco Texas.

As the Nurse Operating Room Manager the candidate will create a supportive work environment for staff and unit personnel focusing on professional nursing practice teamwork collaboration and patientfocused care.
The manager will plan develop and implement policies assess and track procedures oversee budgets and resources manage quality initiatives and educational programs and serve on governance councils.
The candidate will establish and share a vision for nursing practices within the unit and work closely with supervisors and nursing staff to reach department goals.
Responsibilities include ensuring the establishment of effective processes and protocols facilitating the professional development of each team member staying informed on new nursing research and addressing any ethical or clinical issues.
Familiarity and proficiency in nursing procedures and patient care standards are required; the candidate must also know regulations laws and rules as well as certification and accreditation guidelines.
Basic computer skills are essential including the use of office software information security scheduling/payroll systems patient record management and email.
The position is located at Baylor Scott & White Health16000 Frisco Street Frisco Texas in the Operating Room department.
The schedule is fulltime days MondayFriday with flexibility to work with night and weekend shift staff.
The applicant must have a Bachelors degree preferably in Nursing a minimum of three years prior experience in a relevant role and be a registered nurse.
Basic life support certification or the ability to obtain this within 30 days of hire is essential for the role.
