Job Description
Our respected Client a leading European real estate investment development and management company is looking for a Head of Urban Projects to oversee the development and execution of investment projects in various asset classes including Offices Residential and Hospitality with an initial focus on the Czech Republic. The role will be based in Prague and will require a blend of visionary thinking and handson project management skills. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the companys portfolio of residential and office spaces.
Tasks
- Lead nonindustrial construction projects in the Czech Republic with future expansion to Slovakia Hungary Germany and Romania.
- Oversee planning design permitting and construction phases of residential mixeduse and office projects.
- Conduct due diligence on new locations ensuring suitability for development.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule within budget and meet quality standards.
- Develop and maintain schedules budgets and resource plans; oversee budget preparation and manage procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and manage tendering processes for subcontractors.
- Collaborate with the Head of ESG to align projects with sustainability goals and support energy initiatives in business parks.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and mitigate risks to project success.
- Oversee residential operations and guide the development team in identifying new opportunities.
- Ensure smooth handover to Property Management emphasizing sustainability and maintenance readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction project management particularly in office and residential projects.
- Experience working with General Contractors developers or consultancies is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Czech or other regional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Ostrava Bratislava Budapest and other locations as needed.
