Job Summary
- Efficiently navigate firm software including: ACS QBO QB Desktop Intaact ADP Bill.com.
- Complete various accounting projects including outsourced accounting services bank reconciliation payroll tie out equity tie out coding expenses bill pay accounts receivable trial balance review and tie out 1099s annual business accounting (writeup) tangible personal property returns compilations without disclosure monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting auto worksheets and shareholder health insurance.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of basic accounting principles: debits/credits journal entries financial statements.
- Apply different accounting methods: cash accrual GAAP.
- Exhibit professional communication skills: Internal communication with team regarding project status participating in meetings and Client communication as directed by client relationship managers.
- Contribute to team effort by volunteering to help when possible.
- Build job knowledge through departmentwide trainings and independent learning (e.g. reading professional publications and regulations).
- Supervise and train associates and interns.
- Provide performance evaluations with constructive feedback to associates and seniors.
Requirements
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and preferably QuickBooks Desktop or any accounting software.
- Strong understanding of financial statements debits and credits.
- Familiarity with US GAAP.
- Ability to work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time.
- Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
- Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
