Job Description
As an Accounting Manager you will be a key member of the Finance team driving innovation efficiency and accuracy in corporate accounting. Ideal for detailoriented professionals who thrive in fastpaced environments love leveraging technology for streamlined processes and are eager to explore new areas of accounting. You will report to the Controller.
Job Overview
Shift: Night Shift; Tues Sat 1:00 AM 10:00 AM
Work setup: Permanent Work From Home
- Own all aspects of general accounting
- Assist with accounts payable (company credit cards vendor bills vendor payments)
- Process employee reimbursements
- Handle customer invoicing accounts receivable management and revenue recognition
- Perform monthend close including reconciliations journal entries and balance sheet updates
- Manage a senior accountant
- Prepare for the firstyear audit
- Evaluate and implement new tools policies and processes
- Develop and maintain key internal policies and ensure clear communication
- Collaborate on various projects and adhoc reporting
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- 10 years of overall accounting experience
- 5 years of experience in US companies with a solid understanding of US GAAP
- Experience in startup SaaS companies is a plus
- Bachelor s degree in accountancy
- CPA certification preferred
- Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Oracle NetSuite and SAP with the ability to troubleshoot systems independently
- Strong and proactive communication skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with problemsolving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in the US time zone
- Highspeed internet connection (minimum 20 Gbps) with a backup connection
