Job Description
The Senior Development Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and enhancing tire performance to meet customer approvals. This position involves developing new tires maintaining existing ones creating test plans analyzing data for design recommendations and collaborating closely with KRDC development engineers on both OEM and Replacement projects. Travel to manufacturing plants is required to assist in new tire development. Participation in tirerelated organizations is also a key aspect of the role.

Skills
- Ability to work with crossfunctional and international teams
- Proficiency in CATIA V5
- Basic Tire Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Knowledge of plantrelated activities concerning tire production
- Understanding of regulatory issues and industry standards related to tires
- Advanced knowledge of tire construction and performance
- Ability to design and optimize mold profiles independently
- Intermediate knowledge of tread pattern design
Responsibilities
- Develop new tires for optimal performance
- Maintain and enhance existing tire performance
- Create and execute test plans for tire evaluation
- Analyze tire data to provide design recommendations
- Collaborate with KRDC engineers on development projects
- Travel to assist in tire development and manufacturing as needed
- Participate in tirerelated organizations and forums
- Lead tire development programs with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- 7 years of tire development experience required
- Advanced knowledge of tire construction mold design and tread optimization
- Handson experience with CATIA V5 for tire design
- Proven ability to work with crossfunctional and international teams
- Understanding of plant activities related to tire production
- Familiarity with tirerelated regulations and industry standards
- Ability to analyze tire performance data for design improvements
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

8. Do you have familiarity with tirerelated regulations and industry standards (e.g. TRA ETRTO USTMA).
9. Do you have the ability to analyze tire performance data to make design recommendations.
