What Youll Be Doing:
Lead and manage the EIA process for infrastructure projects including scoping impact identification assessment and mitigation planning.
Identify and evaluate potential environmental risks and impacts associated with project activities.
Develop and implement effective mitigation measures to minimize environmental harm.
Ensure projects comply with all applicable local environmental laws regulations and permits.
Prepare and submit highquality environmental reports permit applications and other documentation to clients.
Liaise with regulatory agencies and stakeholders on environmental matters representing the company and project in a professional manner.
Collaborate with design engineers and other disciplines to integrate environmental considerations into all phases of project planning and design.
Provide technical guidance and support to the project team on environmental best practices and sustainable design principles.
Develop and manage environmental aspects of the project budget and schedule.
Oversee and mentor junior environmental engineers providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Coordinate with other project team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of environmental tasks.
Conduct site assessments environmental monitoring programs and data analysis to track project performance and identify potential issues.
Design and implement pollution control and remediation strategies as needed.
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
Bachelors degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
Must have Qatar MMUPDA registration or eligibility for registration.
Proven expertise in environmental impact assessment mitigation and monitoring.
Indepth knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret and apply technical data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Proven ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports presentations and environmental documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
Excellent project management skills including budget and schedule control.
Strong decisionmaking abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
What Desired Skills Youll Bring:
Arabicspeaker is highly desirable.
Masters degree in environmental engineering.
Experience in design of water and wastewater treatment systems.
Experience with groundwater/hydrological assessments.
Proficiency in air quality dispersion and Noise modeling.
Experience with specific types of infrastructure projects (e.g. transportation energy water resources).
Familiarity with GIS software.
