Position : Lead Engineer MEP

Job location : Mumbai

Job description Senior MEP Engineer with Modular Building Experience (LGS Hot rolled and CFS design) Responsibilities Hands on experience in design and managing the team of MEP Engineers Lead and manage a team of leads and engineers in the design and execution of MEP projects. Oversee the planning design and implementation of MEP systems in various projects. Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes standards and client requirements. Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Review and approve design drawings specifications and other technical documents. Provide technical guidance and support to the team. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget. Conduct site visits and inspections as required. Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and advancements. Good skills in AutoCAD. Able to prepare basic layouts & General Arrangement / Detailing Drawings in CAD. Good communication skills team leader able to manage the team of 1012 engineers will be an added advantage. Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to MEP including directing the design team reviewing drafts and computer models and approving design changes. Communicate directly with managers production staff marketing personnel and clients to discuss and organize projects from original conceptual design through construction. Responsible for aid in creation of working drawings budgeting scheduling specifications planning and design on projects with authority to direct control and monitor all activities. Present design proposals and bids to management according to prescribed deadlines and explain relevant details reports expense line items and goals in clear and persuasive language. Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation standards and codes of practice and drawings in accordance with the statutory and regulatory building requirements. Provide consultations during the project development and bidding phases. Follows up the implementation of any necessary changes to the designs or drawings. Qualifications Education: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Experience: Minimum of 7 years in MEP design and management. Proven experience in leading and managing a team of leads and engineers. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and relevant codes and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail. Software Packages: Staad Pro V8i MS Excel ETabs SAP2000 STRAP AutoCAD Excel etc. KEY WORDS: MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL PLUMBING ANALYSIS DESIGN STAAD PRO DESIGN VERTEX ETABS DESIGN REPORTS DESIGN SPREADSHEETS MODULAR BUILDING DESIGN DESIGN LEAD DESIGN MANAGER ADDITIONAL NOTES MODULAR BUILDING DESIGN (LGS HOTROLLED AND CFS) IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE
