Job Description

Our client is seeking a Research Manager to support the Global Landscape Mapping Initiative. The Global Landscape Mapping initiative aims at understanding mental health conditions among children and adolescents in Low and MiddleIncome Countries to support the development of interventions training programs awareness programs and policies targeted at reducing and elevating the burden of mental health conditions.

The initiative includes multiple phases and components for both population and intervention studies including questionnaire development cultural adaptations development of survey and intervention protocols and quality control procedures and monitoring data collection efforts. The candidate is required to have 1) international research experience 2) operational survey expertise 3) experience with ethics review applications for intervention studies 4) experience with managing intervention study participation and processes 5) exceptional organizational skills 6) experience in managing qualitative and quantitative research projects and 7) the ability to manage crossteam collaboration across different sites.

Reporting to the Director of the Global Landscape Mapping Initiative this is an exempt fulltime position. This is a hybrid position with 3 days inoffice.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans timelines milestones resource requirements and deliverables.
  • Prepare projectrelated documentation (e.g. survey methods cognitive interviewing guides institutional review board/ethics review documents programming specifications intervention protocols and processes and progress reports).
  • Draft Request for Proposals (RFPs) and seek bids from different vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships including checking deliverables and request for payments.
  • Manage intervention study protocols and participant recruitment.
  • Support preparation and management of research budgets.
  • Test survey protocols monitor field progress and review quality control metrics.
  • Organize internal and external team meetings.
  • Prepare summary reports specific to sponsors.
  • Prepare presentations related to the initiative activities and progress and results.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Masters degree in a social science field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of operational survey experience (specifically complex surveys).
  • Minimum of 3 years of international intervention research management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing vendors (panel providers).
  • Experience in programming surveys.
  • Skills in standard office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Skills in report writing.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $82600$103000 annually.

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidates work experience education/training jobrelated skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role) if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
