JD:
- 7 years of Elasticsearch development and experience in building and managing Elasticsearch clusters (ideally within an enterpriselevel domain)
- Strong handson experience on designing building and managing scalable highperformance distributed enterprise systems
- Experience in upgrading Elasticsearch clusters inplace or in a separate new cluster (ideally between versions 6 7 and 8)
- Experience in managing Elasticsearch clusters to meet desired levels of security scalability performance and availability
- Deployment and configuration of Elastic aliases beats and agents
- Management of ingest pipelines and deep understanding of ingest processors
- Experience leading teams both as a project lead and a people lead
- Quality assurance of software via modern engineering practices
- Previous experience mentoring and managing more junior team members delegating tasks code reviews performance management and career mapping
- Prior experience interviewing and assisting in the hiring process strongly desired
- Some experience with Java asynchronous programming multithreading implementing APIs and Microservices including Spring Boot
- Some knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Systems Design & CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud computing preferably AWS
- Solid verbal and written communication and consultant/clientfacing skills are a must. As a true consultant you are a selfstarter who takes initiative.
