Summary: As a Software Development Engineer you will be responsible for analyzing designing coding and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve working with Supply Chain Management (SCM) Applications BlueYonder Warehouse Management and SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) using your primary skill in SAP MM Materials Management. Roles & Responsibilities: Design develop and maintain software applications using SAP MM Materials Management. Analyze user requirements and convert them into functional specifications. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and resolve software defects. Perform maintenance enhancements and/or development work on software applications. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) Applications BlueYonder Warehouse Management and SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS). Good To Have Skills: Experience with other SAP modules such as SAP PP Production Planning and SAP SD Sales and Distribution. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Experience with software development tools such as Eclipse Git and JIRA. Experience with database technologies such as Oracle and SQL Server. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field along with a proven track record of delivering impactful software solutions. Strong process and system knowledge of SCM area including Planning Procurement WH management and transportation. Skills on ERP (SAP) and other SCM related applications Integrations and master data. Ask of improving Digital quotient within SCM function recommend own and drive the adoption of new digital capabilities for better processes efficiencies and user experience including BY and Manufacturing 4.0. Overall coordination from concept to actual implementation in agile way Embedding new digital capabilities in people and processes for continuous improvements Review & governance of strategic initiatives as per the plan. Demonstrate thought leadership to bring new digital intervention with Outside In approach. Explore existing solution for cross utilization in SCM area. Alignment on new development prioritization Provide input as required and implement the enhancements on specific projects. Also required to give. strategic design inputs before start of solution development. Construct strategies in close coordination with the Business team and respective vertical heads to achieve functional & business objectives. Supporting decision making abilities by conducting detailed analysis on key strategic issues. conducting internal and external analysis and research to formulate strategic opinions and recommendations. Plan coordinate & minute the strategic reviews and update on status of various initiatives to ensure deployments are taken place as per the plan. Review and monitor various key programs to ensure consistency with defined objectives. Strong Project management skills Skills to interact with Leadership teams in SCM and partners and to handle a large team. This position is based at our Gurugram office.
