We are seeking an experienced and motivated Freelance Business Development Manager to join our team in a freelance capacity. In this role you will not only have the chance to earn fixed and recurring incentives but also the opportunity to be considered for a fulltime role if youre available in the market. Additionally the candidate will be responsible for providing training on business development activities to our internal teams with payment for these training sessions discussed during subsequent interview rounds.

Responsibilities:
Provide your sales expertise and uncover new business opportunities in the Public Sector focusing specifically on Federal State and Local Government clients. Navigate through complex sales processes and sell to leaders in a designated territory owning the full sales cycle and negotiation through to the transition of new clients to the account management team. Understand Contract Procurement of Public Sector clients. Leverage internal resource teams to produce proof of concept and subject matter expertise ensuring successful client engagement. Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/ annual basis. Revive the relationship with dormant accounts/ clients and generate revenue. Support in customer onboarding processes including documentation MSA (Master Service Agreement) NDA (NonDisclosure Agreement) SOW (Scope of Work) TO (Task Order) PO (Purchase Order) etc. Support in proposal preparation for specific project/ work. Assist in expanding delivery operations globally in other countries. Initiate outreach (email and calls) to executives at existing clients and new companies that are potential partners and stay persistent throughout the process to close the deal. Travel to government meetups and industry trade shows to develop new clients. Additional Responsibilities:
Training Internal Resources: Provide 23 training sessions per week to internal teams on business development activities. The compensation for these training sessions will be mutually discussed during subsequent interview rounds.
Requirements:
- 5 Years of IT Consulting Business Development Experience
- Previous experience working in Public Sector environment.
- Prior experience working in a management function within the IT industry or the equivalent will be a plus.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills strong written and verbal communication superb problemsolving skills strong timemanagement skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate BU activities.
- Excellent knowledge of Office suite tools (Excel Word Outlook).
- A selfstarter who takes pride in their work and has the drive to succeed.
- Update internal databases e.g. client records etc.
- Create regular reports and presentations on client metrics.
- Answer client queries about deliveryrelated issues.
- US (United States) Visa holders will be given preference
