Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting forecasting and longterm planning.
Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends risks and opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of business cases for new projects and investments.
Coordinate the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts.
Prepare and present monthly quarterly and annual financial reports to senior management.
Financial Reporting:
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
Prepare management reports and financial presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Cost Analysis & Control:
Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and operational expenses.
Identify costsaving opportunities and support the implementation of cost control initiatives.
Conduct profitability analysis and recommend actions to enhance financial performance.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective controls and processes.
Qualifications and Other Requirements:
Chartered Accountant with 45 years post qualification experience in Finance and Accounting function of a medium sized manufacturing Company (turnover betweencrore).
Strong knowledge of US GAAP IFRS or IND AS.
Experience with general ledger functions and the monthend/yearend close process.
Expertise in accounting software and administration (e.g. Syspro SAP Oracle etc.).
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
Accuracy and attention to detail coupled with aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently manage large workloads and keep deadlines.
