Job Description (Posting). : Senior Informatica Developer USAPrimary Skills: ETL development using Informatica Power Center v10 Python.Job Description Profile Analyze Source Data (Mainframe Extracts flat files SQL Server Web services etc.) usage using Informatica ETL Analyzing and evaluating data sources data volume and business rules Automation job scheduling dependencies monitoring Extraction transformation and load of data using ETL tools ConfigureScript Business rules and transformation rules in Informatica Design development of ETL Informatica jobs as per the Business requirements Understanding the data model designing the model for EDW mapping the data and running the ETL jobs Ensure appropriate level of Unit Test and System Test of all deliverables Understanding of deployment process of both Informatica PowerCenter and IICS jobs Knowledge in version control tools like Bitbucket Git etc and knowledge of branching and checkin of code Defect fixes for System Test Operational Acceptance Test and ProductionOther Skills Required: Good experience in Defect tracking tool Experience in Design and implementation of complex ETL processes. Proficient in writing complex SQL queries Good Understanding of traditional RDBMS systems like SQL Server Oracle Teradata etc. Excellent problem solving debugging performance tuning skills Excellent communication skillsQualifications Any Graduate with degree in EngineeringScience A great communicator of ideas and solutions and a lateral thinker when faced with complex performance or production issues (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. (2.) To conduct comprehensive code reviews establish and oversee quality assurance processes performance optimization implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure succeful delivery of complex projects. (3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives best packages supporting architecture best practices technical risks breakdown into components estimations). (4.) To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope objectives deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.

Location: El Segundo CA (Initial remote ok; local profiles are highly preferred)
Duration: 6 Months
