Job Description
Job Title: Cobol Developer
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience with COBOL CICS JCL and EZTrieve on z/OS 4.2.0/V3.2 or higher.
- Proficiency in objectoriented programming languages such as VB C# or Java.
- Expertise in software design including creating program specifications prototyping and developing logical data models.
- Strong background in business/systems analysis including preparing functional specifications documenting workflows using UML tools like Visual Paradigm or Visio and identifying potential problem areas in systems.
- Extensive testing experience including developing test cases creating comprehensive test plans executing them and validating results at both the data and system levels.
- Proficiency in DB2 version 10 or higher.
- Skilled in debugging using CAInterTest or similar tools to resolve program and user/system issues.
- Experience in consuming and testing web services using tools such as SoapUI.
