We are seeking a Mobile App Developer to support DHS/CBP missioncritical systems. This handson role involves designing developing and maintaining highperforming mobile solutions. Youll collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues enhance system capabilities and ensure scalability and reliability throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect design build and enhance realtime scalable mobile solutions.
- Develop frontend mobile and backend RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Ensure highquality code through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
- Work Schedule: 100% Remote But Candidate must reside in the DMV area
- Education: Bachelor s degree with 8 years of experience or Master s degree with 6 years of experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Mobile Development Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience in Android/iOS development.
- Proficient in frontend mobile frameworks and backend RESTful API development.
- Handson experience with:
Development languages: Java Node.js
Databases: SQL NoSQL
Testing frameworks and tools.
Mobile frameworks like Flutter and languages such as Dart.
- Strong knowledge of Postgres Spring Boot Hibernate JavaScript and modern UI frameworks (e.g. Angular/React).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies CI/CD pipelines and DevOps frameworks.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active CBP BI clearance.
- Active Top Secret / SCI
- AWS cloud development experience.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Prior experience with DHS/CBP projects.
- Knowledge of additional mobile frameworks
