Job Description
Job Title: Cognos Developer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Cognos reports dashboards and cubes based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
- Create and maintain Framework Manager models packages and data sources.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing Cognos reports and queries to improve performance.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
- Develop and implement best practices for Cognos report development and deployment.
- Provide support and training to endusers on using Cognos tools and reports.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Cognos and other relevant BI tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience as a Cognos Developer.
- Experience in Cognos Analytics including Report Studio Framework Manager and Transformer.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server Oracle).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
