Job Description
- We are seeking a talented Cloud Security Architect with 6 Years of experience specializing in cloud technologies to join our dynamic team.
- The Security Architect will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining robust security solutions for our cloudbased infrastructure.
- This role requires a strong understanding of cloud security principles excellent technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to ensure the integrity and security of our cloud environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct risk assessments and security architecture reviews identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigating controls.
Must be able to review new / existing products / applications against cyber security
Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes.
Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies in the cloud computing space evaluating new tools and techniques to enhance our security posture.
Define and enforce security policies and procedures for cloud deployments ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security best practices and procedures delivering training sessions and workshops as needed.
Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security matters providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or related field. Masters degree preferred.
6 years of experience in a security architect role with a focus on cloud security.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures with experience working with major cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
Proficiency in designing and implementing security controls for cloudbased systems including knowledge of relevant tools and technologies.
