Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Oracle OTM Cloud Consultant/Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience implementing configuring and supporting Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Cloud solutions. In this role you will work with business and IT teams to optimize transportation and logistics operations ensure effective system performance and integrate Oracle OTM Cloud with other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities: - OTM Cloud Implementation: Lead the configuration and implementation of Oracle OTM Cloud to meet business requirements. Ensure system setup aligns with logistics transportation and supply chain processes.
- System Configuration: Configure Oracle OTM Cloud for transportation planning execution visibility and optimization. Customize modules such as shipment planning tendering freight payment and carrier management.
- Business Process Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand logistics and transportation requirements. Translate business needs into functional solutions within OTM Cloud.
- Integration with Other Systems: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate OTM Cloud with other enterprise systems such as ERP WMS and financial systems. Ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
- Optimization: Utilize OTM Clouds advanced features to optimize transportation operations reduce costs and improve service levels. Implement best practices for route planning load optimization and carrier selection.
- Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the successful deployment of the Oracle OTM Cloud solution.
- User Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to endusers on how to use Oracle OTM Cloud effectively. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to transportation management processes.
- System Maintenance & Updates: Monitor system performance apply patches and ensure regular updates to the Oracle OTM Cloud system. Work with Oracle support to resolve any systemrelated issues.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop custom reports and dashboards in Oracle OTM Cloud to provide visibility into transportation KPIs performance metrics and cost analysis. Utilize Oracle BI tools or other reporting tools as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in transportation management. Work with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the OTM Cloud platform.
Required Skills & Experience: - Oracle OTM Cloud Experience: Proven experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Cloud solutions. Familiarity with key modules such as Transportation Planning Execution Freight Payment and Carrier Management.
- Supply Chain & Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics supply chain management and transportation operations. Experience with freight optimization route planning and carrier management is a plus.
- System Integration: Experience integrating Oracle OTM Cloud with other enterprise systems such as ERP (e.g. Oracle EBS SAP) WMS or financial systems.
- Configuration & Customization: Handson experience in configuring Oracle OTM Cloud including managing transportation lanes defining business rules setting up carriers and optimizing shipments.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Oracle OTM Clouds technical architecture and tools. Experience in using SQL for custom reports and data extraction.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple OTM Cloud implementation projects from conception to delivery. Experience working in Agile project environments is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders IT teams and vendors.
- ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve issues related to transportation management systems.
Educational Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
- Relevant Oracle OTM certifications (e.g. Oracle OTM Cloud Implementation) are a plus.
Desirable Skills: - Experience with Oracle Cloud applications including Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle SCM Cloud.
- Knowledge of additional Oracle Cloud modules such as Oracle Inventory Management or Oracle Procurement Cloud.
- Understanding of transportation cost models logistics optimization and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with thirdparty logistics (3PL) providers and integration with OTM Cloud.
- Experience in cloudbased application deployment and management.
