Job Summary:
As an Application Tech Support Engineer you will provide ongoing support to clients and ensure the smooth functioning of systems and applications. Your primary responsibility will be acting as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. You will utilize your deep product knowledge and exceptional communication skills to accurately define and resolve client issues ensuring that worldclass systems remain operational. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address complex technical issues and enhance system performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support to clients acting as the interface between the client and the system or application.
- Accurately define client issues and design effective solutions based on deep product knowledge.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of systems and applications utilizing strong communication skills to keep systems running efficiently.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues ensuring client satisfaction.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in your area of expertise contributing to decisions on client issues and solutions.
- Monitor system health address system or application downtime and take appropriate action to minimize disruptions.
- Assist in configuration management and version control using tools like ENDEVOR CHANGEMAN PANVALET.
MustHave Skills:
- Proficiency in IBM Z/OS with handson experience in Mainframe Operations.
- Strong working knowledge of Batch Scheduling on CA ESP/CA Workload Automation in both Mainframe and distributed environments.
- Experience with configuration management and version control tools such as ENDEVOR CHANGEMAN and PANVALET.
- Excellent communication skills able to define client issues and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
GoodtoHave Skills:
- Experience with JCL (Job Control Language).
- Familiarity with production support and mainframe batch scheduling processes.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills capable of interacting with clients and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues ensuring smooth system operations.
Educational Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 15 years of fulltime education in a relevant field (Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field).
