Job Description:
As a Manager Global Compliance and Payroll you will lead the payroll function ensuring efficient payroll processing compliance with statutory regulations and optimal client satisfaction. You will manage and mentor a team of payroll professionals allocate resources and drive process improvements while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead the payroll team ensuring effective performance and collaboration.
- Manage team resources allocate tasks and ensure timely execution of payrollrelated functions.
- Review the work of team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Train new and existing employees providing necessary guidance and upskilling.
- Oversee the planning and monitoring of overall payroll processes.
2. Payroll Process Excellence:
- Ensure accurate and timely salary structuring and processing for multiple clients.
- Develop and monitor key matrices for payroll processes to optimize performance.
- Prepare and review reports including CTC reconciliation and variance analysis using Excel.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and compliance.
3. Client Management:
- Act as a liaison between the organization and its clients to ensure smooth communication and resolution of payroll issues.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with the payroll services provided.
4. Reporting:
- Create and review comprehensive payroll reports and ensure accurate data tracking.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and clients regarding payroll processes and performance.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any field (B.Com M.Com MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in payroll management including client and team management and India outsourced payroll.
Desired Skills:
Primary Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and resource allocation.
- Indepth knowledge of payroll processing including compliance with PF ESI LWF and income tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for payroll reporting (CTC reconciliation variance analysis etc.).
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement workflow enhancements.
Secondary Skills:
- Basic knowledge of MS Office especially Excel for data management.
- Proficiency in using MS Outlook for communication and client interaction.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective collaboration.
- Experience in client management and delivering clientcentric services.
