Job Description
Main Duties.
- Operate monitor and maintain plant equipment including AHUs boilers chillers and other mechanical systems
- Respond quickly and efficiently to repair requests from guests and departments
- Perform regular inspections of designated plant rooms reporting defects and maintaining cleanliness
- Serve as the first point of contact for job requests from other departments
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and supplies reporting restocking needs to supervisors
- Communicate effectively about ongoing repairs including timelines and any unforeseen delays
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment using appropriate signage when necessary
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure smooth facility operations
- Participate in rotating shift schedules including night shifts to provide 24/7 coverage
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order management and reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field)
- 35 years of engineering experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including basic plumbing and electrical work
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and plant equipment (AHUs boilers chillers etc.)
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to highquality work
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work different shifts including nights as part of a rotating schedule
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in industrial settings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
- Physical capability to perform tasks that may involve lifting climbing and working in various environmental conditions
