Job Description
Work closely with division managers to understand the scope and requirements.
Develop detailed project budgets.
Track actual costs against budgeted costs throughout the project life-cycle.
Identify variances and investigate the reasons behind them.
Ensure project costs align with the budget and report potential cost overruns.
Work with project managers and other team members to optimise resource allocation.
Compare supplier and vendor contracts to select the most cost-effective options.
Anticipate future expenditures using cost forecasting and monitoring tools.
Make sure all cost-related activities comply with company policies and legal standards.
