Job Description
Job Title: Remote General Manager Telecom/ISP Operations
Location: Remote (Latam)
Salary: $5000 USD/Month
Company Overview: We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the remote management of an office located in Colorado. Our focus is on delivering highquality internet services through both fixed wireless and fiber technologies. This role is critical for managing the operations infrastructure and strategic investments necessary to continue expanding our network capabilities.
Role Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for the daytoday operational management of telecom and internet services across the southwest region of Denver Colorado. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in the telecom/ISP industry and will focus on:
- Network operations management
- Infrastructure servicing
- Inventory control and management of telecom equipment
- Strategic capital expenditures for infrastructure improvement and growth
- Oversight of commercial sales efforts (though this is not a primary focus)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Colorado operations remotely managing the entire telecom service delivery process.
- Ensure effective network infrastructure maintenance and implement strategies for infrastructure improvement.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure availability of necessary telecom equipment.
- Manage logistics ensuring smooth operations for field technicians.
- Implement and execute strategic capital expenditures to support network expansion and efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure services are aligned with business objectives.
Key Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in the telecom/ISP industry preferably with a focus on fixed wireless technology (fiber knowledge is a plus).
- Seniorlevel management experience ideally at a large telecommunications carrier (stateowned or private).
- Deep understanding of network operations equipment management and infrastructure updates.
- Ability to manage largescale operational teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven track record in making strategic capex decisions and overseeing capital projects.
- Preference for candidates who have worked in Latin America to align with time zone requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- A senior professional with substantial experience in major telecom companies.
- Individuals currently employed in highlevel telecom positions looking for a significant career move.
- Background in both fixed wireless and fiber technologies is ideal.
Compensation:
- Remote role with a target salary of $60000/year.
- Open to revisiting the salary range based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
